Minister of Music
Jennifer was raised in a Christian home going to Sunday School and church each week. She asked Jesus to come and live in her heart when she was 5 years old. Being the daughter of a worship leader, she wanted to lead worship, too. Her freshman year of high school she felt the Lord calling her specifically to vocational music ministry. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Church Music from Southwest Baptist University, and a Master of Divinity in Church Music, as well as a Master of Divinity in Christian Apologetics from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. She served 2 summers in local and foreign missions, as well as leading music for special events conferences, WMU events and GA camp for the state convention. She faithfully served as Minister of Music in two churches in the greater New Orleans area before joining the FBC LaPlace staff in June of 2017.
